Opening Night/RDB/Joan Ov Arc
Just wanted to come on here and thank everyone for coming and making the night a very special one. I thought Joan ov Arc were superb and played a lot of new material that i hadn't heard before. Thet seemed to go down well with the Bridge crowd. And RDB, well what can i say. I thought they were just sensational, i can't remember hearing them play better. Hands up if anyone would like to see them here on a regular basis!

Hiya Tony I've already added to the 'grand opening night' thread that RDB were fantastic last night. You really must convince Dave and Dennis to play BH2 regularly. We can't keep waiting for reunions or special one-offs to hear those RDB classics again. Congrats again on a great offical opening night. Regards Perry. |

Perry Some hot off the press information for you and all RDB fans. Ive just met up with Dennis and from know on RDB will be playing BH2 once every month. I can confirm that the first gig will be held on Thursday 14th February, and from then on the first Thursday in every month.

hi ya tony well what a great opening night, dont think it could of gone better. we travel a fair old distance to see RDB and the den & dave duo, its well worth every trip we do. dood to hear that they will be a regular band, we will down from frinton-on-sea as often as we can. joan ov arc were also great.hope this venue works out and all the best for the future, keep rocking!!!! Thanks for your kind words Glen. The feedback from the evening has been very positive and we are so glad that RDB will be playing here regularly from now on.. I guess like many RDB fans i was brought up on them musically so to speak, and its just so good to see and hear them play. Hope to see you at BH2 again. Thanks Tony |

oh no.... !! missed it. the opening night that is. last saw dave n dennis in the kicking dickie in dunmow a couple of months before xmas. last saw them perform in the late 70's before i moved to norwich. couldn't believe it when terry walked into the pub. he said to keep me eye on the bridge house web site for future info and i still missed it. will be there on 14th feb though. hope dave still sings a great "stay with me baby". can't wait. |
