BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED may not now play on the 2nd August. They're from Malta and have been waiting to get confirmation that they are on the bill at Rebellion...which is slow in coming. However I've added a great band called AND NOW WE'RE EVEN. If BNI don't do Rebellion they WILL be touring the U.K. in September so hopefuly I'll put them on at the BH2. |

SATURDAY JUNE 21ST. JC & The Disciples (featuring John Carroll who was previously one of The Members and wrote the classic 'Sound Of The Suburbs'. Plus more to be confirmed. This is going to be a bit of a Folk Punk night lads 'n' lasses. |

Saturday 21st June will be JC & THE DISCIPLES (ex~The Members, Fad Gadget, Laura Logic bands)(New English Blues, Electronica, Folk, Punk...) WHISKY CHASER (Folk, Punk, Bagpipes, Kilts...) bagpipes) LOS SALVADORES (Folk, Punk, Mandolin, Bazouki...) This is so going to be a wild party!!! Let's hope the weather has improved for the kilt wearers.

Sounds like this could be a jolly old night Rockula! Will you be donning a kilt for the evening? Im sure it would suit you? I wouldn't be able to wear one as im sure my bagpipes would be hanging out of the bottom!!!  Tony |

I wore my kilt out. Wore it solid for two years. Very comfortable. But the thought of buying a new one HAS crossed my mind.

Various promoters are keeping the punk flag flying with upcoming gigs at the BH2. Saturday 28th June – GARY BUSHELL & THE GONADS, THE WARRIORS, SPLODGENESSABOUNDS, CITIZEN KEYNE & CLITORIS ALLSORTS Saturday 5th July – DEMOB, SPECIAL DUTIES, CONCRETE GODS & another TBC Saturday 2nd August – DEAD IDENTITIES, AND NOW WE’RE EVEN & KITTY HUDSON. Hey, looking forward to this on Sunday! Just listened to the freebie CD with Big Cheese mag. and THE RABBLE sound excellent!!! Plus one of the very last chances to see Danger's Close with the current line~up. And The Duel with my mate Pumpy. And.... Oh. You get the point.

Yesterday was fantastic. All great bands. Very entertaining. And THREE female led bands out of the six. Nicely done, Clive. Special mention for those young guns from New Zealand THE RABBLE. I can see them going places. Well, Blackpool for a start. Ha!

Yeh, great day. Well done Clive!! As for The Rabble, they will be back here at least one more time. It looks like they will be here For Clive's Birthday Party on 20th September, and hopefully they will be having a party at The Bridghehouse at the end of their UK Tour. As the band played their first ever UK gig here, they want to end the tour with a bash at the Bridge House also. Watch this space for the date.
