I was in Austin recently and they have build new airport on the base but you can still see the old
hounddog building, is used by airguard.I will dig through my stuff and see what I can find.

I started my military career at Altus. My wife's grandparents were from up north pandhandle so we enjoyed being stationed there. I attended the reunion this last April and ran into several old troops from Altus. Where did you work and under who. Sam Baker was Squadron Commander at the time. Do you remember the Squadron outside the maintenance building? It had a 3-D image of a Hhounddog in flight! I built the Squadron board.
