I remember when we moved to Bossier in 1963, daddy was stationed at Barksdale. M/Sgt Cleo Don Allen Sr. was my daddy, he passed September 15th 1987. Daddy served 21 years before retiring in 1968, spending his last year in Vietnam.The military has given me many pleasant memories as a military daughter, I can still remember his commanders and alot of the men he worked with. Those squadren picnics at Barksdale are forever in my memory. I am proud to be an American military daughter,and have passed that along to my children and grand ghildren, hopefully.I will be sending along a photo of my daddy hopefully it can be posted on the website. Prior to Barksdale we were stationed at Yokota AFB, Japan.
