My Grandfathers name was James C. Crouch, he passed while I was still young. I have a Senior Missileman's pin that belonged to him. He served during Vietnam and I no information of what he did or anything. I would like to be able to tell my sons more about him than I know. If anyone has any information or knew my Grandfather I would like to hear from you.
Request a copy of your grandfathers military personnel records from the National Archives. DD Form 214 will give a history of your grandfathers service. You can also request copies of the medals he was awarded while he was in the Air Force. Here is the website address for the National Archives.

I have found some information on my grandfather, James Clyde Crouch. In May of 1965 he was assigned to the 405th MMS at Clark AB. And later in 1968 he was back at Clark AB this time assigned to the Falcon Missile Sho, 6200 MMS as Material Control NCOIC, in support of 405th FW detachments.
The 405th and 6200 MMS are Munitions Maintenance Squadrons And the 405th FW is a Fighter Wing. The Falcon Missile commonly used on Fighter Aircraft. These smaller missile were usually maintained by personnel in the Munitions Maintenance Squadrons.
Thank you for that information, but with my grandfathers things i have found AMMS patches and the pins. I have also found a document that goes as so....
