Cattery start-up suggestions

I am trying to gather all the info I can on how to set up a new cattery. I plan to start with the bare minimum (queen and stud) and raise them in my house. I have a spare bedroom I plan to commit, primarily, to the cause, at this time. Of course, they'll have the run of the enitire place; but, for sleeping and breeding purposes, the spare bedroom will be theirs. Initially, should I purchase the pair from different catteries? What about bloodlines?
