Constant meowing is driving me NUTS!!!!

The full story...
1.) Boyfriend moved in to my house, bringing his cat
2.) Dog was bought, cat & dog tolerate each other peacefully
3.) Cat had 3 kittens which we've kept(long story about Boyfriend's ex partner lying about taking cat to vets for 'fixing'
4.) Within 7 weeks of having kittens, just before her trip to the vet for spaying, cat was pregnant again!
5.) Cat delivered 4 healthy babies (OUTSIDE! HAD TO DEMOLISH FENCE TO GET TO THEM! ) who are now 5 weeks old.
6) Older kittens are fine with the babies, but now Cat is driving me bonkers with constant mewing.
It's not the usual 'season yowl' (and she's hardly been outdoors since the 2nd litter), it's more like she's talking to the babies or keeping a constant vocal connection with them. She's got food, water, a private room for her and the babies which the older cats and dog don't enter.
Has anyone got any suggestions for me? This crying is driving me around the bend. Please don't tell me she's possibly pregnant again!
