Lone Star Classic 3-day Field Trial & Bench Show
We will be starting the Lone Star Classic this November. It will be held at the Boles Field Fox and Coyote Pen in Shelbyville, Tx which is operated by Clinton and Brenda Risinger and family. This hunt will be ran under the Masters rules and will be Masters affilliated. There will be a derby and an All age. The hunt will run November 19th-22nd, entering hounds on the 19th and running from the 20th-22nd. Entry fee will be $50.00 on All age hounds and $40.00 for derby hounds. There is a $10.00 membership fee. Breakfast and lunch will be served at the pen for $5.00 a plate and supper will be served at the Boles Field pavillion for $5.00 a plate. I will be the secretary and will be taking the numbers on this hunt, but will not take them until after Labor Day. There will be a 4hr speed and drive fundraiser the weekend after Labor Day. I will advertise it shortly. |

Thursday, Friday and Saturday (20-22) give those deer a break this year. |

Seriously Derek, I wasn't expecting you to come anyway. I know that's deer season and we are just going to have to deal with it. I just always thought you were a foxhunter first.

I will start taking #s sunday Sept 7th. at 3pm. We will be doing the $5.00 deposit on the # reservations. It worked real well on the Ark-La-Tex Masters and we will be do it for this hunt as well. When you call and reserve the #s you will have 2 weeks to mail in a check or hand me cash to reserve the #s. If in 2 weeks i haven't recieved the ck. I will erase your name from the #s. The deposit will go towards your entry fee and is non-refundable the morning of November 19th. Camping will be at the Historic Boles Field. Score sheets will be posted there as well. Roll call will be at the pen at the "old shed" on the cemetery side of the pen. |
