Hunters, Mike's Barney is living in the great state of Pennsylvania. He was in southern Illinois for quite a while but was sold probably close to a year and a half or two years now. He was a very good competition hound and has proven to be a very good producing sire. The very recent Illinois State derby champion was sired by Mike. He is worth finding and is certainly worth the trouble to breed a good female to. I could get you the new owner's name, address, and phone number if you need that information. I have a 20 month old male sired by Mike and I sure do like him....Mike's Barney stamps his offspring with his own characteristics and most sires cannot do that with high percentages---Mike can. |

Roy, is the Hammering Down Ace hound a good coyote/foxhound? Is he more of a field trial dog or a pleasure hound? As a breeding hound, has he sired enough to make a reputation for himself in the stud? Any info about Ace would be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck (southern Illinois) |
