it's illegal to run a lottery unless people can participate in the lottery without doing anything else
for example, have a "no purchase or survey completion required" phrase in your advertisements, and give people a way to participate in the lottery without doing your research study (e.g., mail in a postcard)
seems like many people don't know this |
