The Band of Others Forum

(Wearing of togas is not mandatory.  Some concept of decorum, and good manners is requested.)

We don't intend to be a hardcase on the issue of censorship.  We encourage debate, and understand that it will sometimes become heated.  I do not want to lay down rules concerning what will be, and what will not be tolerated.  If I find something offensive, my inclination is to delete the thread rather than ban the individual.  However:  Gossip, and repeated rudeness, will not be tolerated.  In general this forum is open to any subject people wish to discuss.  Remember that this is primarily a military forum.  Any person, or persons, who try to "hijack" it for their own purposes will be banned.

Message:   VA staff members "really don't . . . have time to do the extensive testing that should be done to determine PTSD," Perez wrote.

Statement is Totally unacceptable. If this be the case, Everyone who supports the Troops welfare should be asking Washington, "Why Not" and demand that the under funded, understaffed VA be brought up to current standards?

The Current Administration learned absolutely nothing from Walter Reed and obviously after so many years conducting this War, have not realized that a large cost of the War is taking care of the troops Medical needs when they return home. They have appointed one Mickey Mouse Commission after another, then when the results do not come out favorably to them they start another commission. So far every Bush Commission that he has started has said the VA Needs more Staff and money.

Totally Ridiculous!

jinks!
