Thanks so much, Jami, for your hard work. I feel so CONNECTED to the wider faith community through this modern technology. Everything is so user friendly.
In the News and Events category...I think bold print would be helpful on the dates and titles of the events listed. That way they'd stand out better when scanning the page. What do you think?
Also, on the home page...Item 3 would read better (?) as "The Lafayette Friends Worship Group is under the care of Baton Rouge Friends Meeting." That incorporates traditional Quaker terminology.
I think that it might be our conversations so far that haven't illicited much response. I think that if we start some themes that are more debate-worthy, people may respond. I wish I could think of some such theme right now, but my brain is fried from studying. I had thought about posting some new meditation or newsworthy item every week or two to get some conversation started, but I haven't followed through with it yet. Would that be something that people might be interested in?
Time management continues to be a challenge for me, what with the two houses, Mama, yada yada yada. So maintaining a written dialogue via our forum just doesn't fit into my life right now. I'm not even managing to check my email every day so I know I wouldn't be able to find enough thought-inspiring time to participate in a true dialogue.
I do love reading Will's contributions. His words paint such pretty pictures. Makes me regret not being there but, at the same time, makes me feel as if I'm experiencing it too...just after the fact.
