WE ONLY HIRE NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS
Where: Our Tsukahara School in Minami Ashigara City, Kanagawa Prefecture: 80 minutes south of Tokyo,
and one hour south of Yokohama.

Duties: You will teach children to adults & some company classes English conversation. Any hours after 28 per week are paid overtime.
You will teach about 25 hours a week. Work is Monday to Friday. You have weekends off and most Japanese national holidays.
You will be required to work 3-5 days of Monday-Japanese holidays a year, but an alternate weekday will be given off as a
holiday that week. Two days a week you teach at your own home/school. The other three days are spent at our Tsukahara
School and at our Akageno An School. No long train travel. Caring Canadian and Japanese co-managers. The Canadian still teaches, so knows what it's like "in the trenches."

We Provide:
Sponsorship, training, a clean, modern apartment-rent 50,000-55,000 Yen/Month,. No key money!
Your apartment is satellite TV equipped, You can pay for satellite TV if you want it (approx. 3,000 Yen/month)a computer
in your apartment/school, access to our extensive English library at our Tsukahara school in Minami Ashigara.
It is a great area to live, with many restaurants to choose from and access to many beautiful places.

Salary 250,000 Yen/Month Plus 120,000 Yen bonus on completion of the one year contract. Raises for your second year with us, provided
your performance warrants it. We pay for your regular weekly travel costs from your home to our other schools.

Required: A four year university degree.

Assets: Previous TEFL, TESOL or other training and/or previous experience, a positive attitude towards teaching and the adventure that is living in Japan. A love of teaching children. An ability to play guitar and sing. The ability to clown around
with the kids and a sense of humour You need not be a native French or Mandarin speaker--but an ability to teach
either or both.
