quarter finals
Second day of quarter finals in Prague. In the first game Canada met the Finns. Finns soon went 2-0 up and Canadian coach Mike Babcock called a time out to settle the team down. Canadians clawed it back to 2-2. Finns went ahead twice more but each time Canada pulled it back, the 60 minutes finished 4-4. 5.33 into overtime Danny Heatley scored to put Canada through to the semis. Second game was Swiss v Slovaks and surprisingly the Swiss scored first and defended valiantly but the Slovaks finished ahead 3-1. Semi final line ups USA v Sweden, Slovakia v Canada. Peter Forsberg and Niklas Lidstrom have flown in to play for Sweden in the final stages. Forsberg will play in his traditional 21 shirt, which meant the rules had to be bent to allow one of the Swedes to change from number 21. Roger
