Is the print finishing
trade had it's day in the UK or can you still see a future in it?
after serving over
twenty five years in the trade I have seen many changes in it and the past 5
years have propberly seen the most change,
and I must admit not for
the best. for one reason or another we seem to have to work a lot harder and the
pay is crap..
On average shift work is
paying about £10 - £15 hour about £500 a week.
the only time you
get a pay rise is when you hand in your notice?????
Do you notice how most
directors plead poverty and how times are hard but the company car is still a
top of the range BMW or similar.
Personally I would not
encourage any one to go into this trade any more, become a electrician or a
plumber less stress, sociable hours and far better pay.
