Is it not time that the print Finishers got paid a skilled workers wage again!
Printers get it and do a lot less, fucking presses are now all computerized, stick a pressman in the finishing; they are totally lost, stick a finisher in the pressroom not a problem. Finishers have the skill not pressmen!!
Who gets the money? Not the finishers who have the skill…
Should the wage for a skilled worker who has more then 4 years experience behind them and can operate more then 2 machines should be paid at least £20 pound an hour!
If you don’t get that much you may as well jack it in go work in the press room.
Wake up lets get the cash we deserve!
£20 a hour!!!!!!!
May be we should start our own union again to get the pay.
