the role
The main duties of this position will be operating the Stahl folders, Collator-Stitcher, Guillotines, Laminating machine and various other small hand finishing equipment. You will be working as part of a flexible team and will need to be adaptable to meet deadlines.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 12:30pm 1:30pm – 4:30pm 37.5hrs per week
Basic pay £260 per week (£13,520 pa) Total pay est (£21,500pa)
Overtime: When available and required outside the above hours overtime will be paid @ “time and a half” While there can be no guarantee in respect of overtime it is anticipated that you may work 12hrs per week which would add £6,500pa
Bonus: Paid quarterly, amount depending upon experience, time served, personal input and company performance. Again while not guaranteed, we would expect you to earn around £1,500 in your first year
Holidays: Currently 5 weeks and 1 day, with 1 week fixed at Christmas, paid at average gross pay excluding bonus.
Pension: Invitation to join Reeds Pension Scheme after 1 year’s service, at the discretion of the management, with employee making a minimum contribution of 2% gross pay (deducted weekly) and Reeds contributing 4% gross pay and life premium securing twice annual earnings on death in service.
