Re: T/7 challenges

VIBES

B’Elanna is called to repair Seven after a malfunction causes her implants to continually vibrate.

EFFICIENCY

B’Elanna is furious when Seven, as part of her efficiency report in “Good Shepard” adds an appendum criticising the ‘inefficient’ manner in which B’Elanna and Tom have sex. Condition: Tal Celes must be a startled observer.

Replying to:

For those of you who are looking for T/7 challenges to stimulate your imagination (some of these can be adapted to other pairings as well).

How about CAPTAIN PROTON AND THE ROBOT WOMAN!!! The evil Dr Chaotica kidnaps Constance Goodheart and implants her with numerous cybernetic parts as part of his sinister plan to create an army of robot beings to conquer Earth. Meanwhile, Captain Proton receives help from an unlikely source in the form of Beylarnar, savage Queen of the Animal Women...you get the idea.

As far as I know there hasn't been any T/7 written in the Proton universe (correct me if I'm wrong) so here's a chance to break new ground. You could write it as either Paris convincing a reluctant B'Elanna and Seven to play the game - with unexpected results, or 'straight up' - that is totally within the Proton universe with subtle Voyager references (e.g. the President of Earth saying, “I’m a politician, not a doctor!”).

NEXT GENERATION CROSSOVER

If there's one character who's likely to appear (in more than a brief cameo) in the Next Generation movies it'll be the ratings-boosting Jeri Ryan so why not get there ahead of Paramount? One possibility: Captain Picard wants a Borg expert for a mission. He hopes to get Commander Shelby (from 'Best of Both Worlds'), but to his annoyance receives Seven of Nine and a former Maquis traitor called B'Elanna Torres (a specialist in adapting Borg technology to Federation ships). Plenty of potential conflict here between 'Locutus' and Miss Proud to be Borg, and/or perhaps Seven could have received secret orders from Admiral Janeway that might put her in conflict with Picard? (making Janeway an admiral was a pretty definite indicator that they’re not going to have a Voyager movie!). Other potentially interesting interactions are between (Proud to be Klingon) Worf and B'Elanna, Seven and the Enterprise-E's underdeveloped EMH or the bumbling Reg Barcley, not to mention the only creature in the universe that's more arrogant than Seven is, Data's cat Spot!

BORG FEVER

Seven years after the events of ‘Blood Fever’, Vorik has been safely confined to his quarters as he goes through the pon farr again. At the same time Seven and B'Elanna are on an away mission, when Seven notices the previously hostile B'Elanna acting in a rather strange manner towards her…

Either in ignorance of what is happening, or in order to save B'Elanna from the chemical imbalance that could kill her, Seven agrees to mate with B'Elanna. Afterwards however, B'Elanna is furious that Seven took advantage of her in that condition, something that even Tom had been reluctant to do. Note: For reasons of originality, this story should not take place in a cave.

ROUTINE SERVICE

The Doctor is busy/offline for maintenance/on an away mission so it's left to B'Elanna Torres, much to her annoyance, to do a routine overhaul of Seven of Nine's Borg implants. This naturally involves Seven removing her clothes and lying down on a biobed while B'Elanna probes her with various instruments and asks all kinds of personal questions...need I say more?

VISIONS THROUGH AN OCULAR IMPLANT

Doc encourages Seven to take up his hobby of holophotography – “Just pick a subject and go for it, Seven!” Seven of Nine decides to do the subject of erotic photography, with B'Elanna as her model. Despite appearances this doesn't have to be a PWP, I think Seven's choice of backgrounds (infinite possibilities thanks to the holodeck) and clothes, poses, etc would say a lot about how the Borg views the Klingon.

SPLOTT (Sex in PLaces Other Than Turbolifts)

I believe a while back X and others talked about BLT and 7 having sex in places other than turbolifts. Since then we've had the brig and the sonic shower used. Jeffries tubes, shuttles, and holodecks have been well explored. So what about someplace else? Janeway's ready room or the briefing room? Hydroponics bay? - think of what they could do with those sprinklers and vegetables! Come to think of it, how about BLT and Seven being accidentally locked in Neelix's fridge? They'd have to do something to keep warm, and there’s all that ice cream. The morgue was one macabre suggestion, but not that silly. The closeness of death creates the need to breed: angst PWP? - maybe Paris has died? Other suggestions were the bridge (on nightshift presumably - how about that time in "Night" when B'Elanna's quarreling with Tom and everyone's bored out of their skull?), on top of a turbolift (while it's moving?). ‘Messages’ gave me an idea - how about 'phone sex'? Maybe B'Elanna and Seven are in space suits fixing something on the outside hull, so all they can do is talk to each other.

DS9 ALTERNATIVE UNIVERSE CROSSOVER

The Orb of Time is stolen from DS9 in a rather bloody robbery by two characters from the alternative universe, B'Elanna Torres (the illegitimate, abandoned daughter of a Klingon and her Terran slave) and B’Elanna’s Terran lover Annika Hansen. It's all part of a plot to change the course of history in the alternative universe by assassinating Spock or Captain Kirk, who if you'll remember caused the whole situation in the first place. Sisko or Kira or Ditzy Dax (sorry, Ezri Dax) - just pick your favourite DS9 character - must go through and retrieve the Orb before history is changed. A good one if you'd like to write about evil T/7, or at least give them a bit of an edge.

DIVE

Janeway, Tuvok and B’Elanna return to Voyager after the events of Unimatrix Zero. While the Doctor is removing B’Elanna’s Borg implants she falls into a coma. Seven has to interlink with her in order to guide them back to reality.

SHAKESPEARE CHALLENGE

Seven of Nine wakes up from her regeneration cycle to find the following sonnet stuck to the front of her biosuit.

They that have power to hurt, and will do none

That do not do the thing they most do show,

Who, moving others, are themselves as stone,

Unmoved, cold, and to temptation slow;

They rightly do inherit heaven's graces,

And husband nature's riches from expense;

They are the lords and owners of their faces,

Others but stewards of their excellence.

The summer's flower is to the summer sweet,

Though to itself it only live and die;

But if that flower with base infection meet,

The basest weed outbraves his dignity;

For sweetest things turn sourest by their deeds

Lilies that fester smell far worse than weeds.

Proceed accordingly.
