Ronald Hayes, 66, Oxford, MI, formerly of Evarts, passed away, Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was born August 26, 1945 in Evarts. Ronald was a retired worker for Pontiac Motor Corporation with 40 years of service.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Barnes Hayes; his father, Glen Hayes; one brother, Raymond “Boot” Hayes; and a nephew, Raymond Earl Hayes.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Hayes, Oxford, MI; two sons, Ronald Morris and Jason Teelender and wife, Carol, all of Michigan; one brother, Johnny Hayes and wife, Susan, Evarts; and one sister, Christine Napier and husband, Bobby, Wallins.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Nathan, Pierson, Aiden and Lexie Morris and Jack and Julie Teelender, all of Michigan; a special sister-in-law, Alice Wynn, Evarts; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 3 until 5 PM in the chapel of the Modetz Funeral Home, Orion, MI, with funeral services immediately following at 5 PM.

A graveside service has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at 11 AM at the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
