A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

There is some talk from some fleet 17 sailors of having another winter series on the weekends we are not doing the Frozen Thumbs. That means racing opportunities every weekend all winter long. What do you think ? I like it. all we have to do is think of a name for the series and show up.
The hot rum series.
the snowflake series
the snowball series
the frozen snowball
bbbbrrrrring it on.
the keener cup
the ice bowl
any other suggestions ? comments ?

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

The Opposable Thumb Series

Opposable = capable of being placed opposite something else

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

HaHa , I love it.

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

I also think it's a fantastic idea. More racing = More fun.

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

I also love the idea, maybe it's because I'm weird.

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

Hey Alice, Maybe I only like it cus I'm weird.

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

Hi Bruce: The Port Tack Terror here! I am fully booked thru till Sunday, but all in favor for "The other series"! I hope there will be more input from all of the other RC'ers. Ken

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

Looks like we're going to try Stones at noon,
Marks will be set, just two signed up so far.

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

We're up to three, maybe four.
I'll bring the charter boat just in case.

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

What a fun day, I had a blast. Y'all should have stuck around for the RC Laser sailors jamming at open mike night at Miller's Pub.

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

To all those RC er's out there: We had an absolute blast at Stones. Yes the wind were a bit light, but we all love a challenge and the few beers at the end of the day don't we? Ken

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

Hey ! What if we called it the "Pint Cup". Or is that weird.

Re: A NEW WINTER SERIES ?

Call me crazy but, what if Miller's sponsored the series and bought the daily winner a pint. "The Pint Cup, sponsored by Miller's Pub." Has a nice ring to it. SATURDAY, SATURDAY, SATURDAY rack em up, cracked em up, rock'em sock'em one-design sailboat racing. Where only the fast survive. Boat handling, tactics and up to 20 races in a day, coming to a body of water near you.
