Just wanteg to say congrats to all who catagoried or HGA'D. Timmy Shuman and Sons took 1st and 2nd in the Derby. This was thier second win in a row with these fine hounds. My old friend and hunting buddy Joey Keel is back in. This was his first hunt, but he picked up right were he left off, placing 3rd and 5th in the Derby. Anthony Cone is still on a roll, placing his Ogeechee River field Ch 6th in the All Age. Claude Roberson, who is always tuff places in the Derby and the All Age. Marvin DeLoach placed His Ch., Big Time Luke again. We would also like to thank those who traveled a long ways to attend our hunt. Baldwin Bay kennels from Florida placed 2nd in the All Age. Mr Woody, Big Moose, Little Moose and the South Carolina gang, placing PC'S Joe 4th in the All Age. SWS Kennels, There They are Again Kennels, Fly By Night/Rawsey Branch Kennels, Ogeechee Kennels, South Ga Po Boys, South Bryan and Tubby, are always tuff to beat. Also, a shoutout to Larry Kight and The Beaver Dam Boys for placing in the Derby. And a special congrats to Mr Ben Jones. Mr Ben was competing twenty four years when I got in to fox huntig. He's still placing in puppy hunts, 1 day, and 3 day hunts. He's a fine man and a very tuff competitor. Thanks again to Bub and Ben for having the United Fox Pen in tip top condition. They work very hard to have an outstanding facility for us to have our hunts in. One final note. Just wanted to let all the crew with Smack Down Kennels know you wre missed by a lot of people. Just didn't seem like an Ogeechee hunt without you guys there. We will be praying for your situation to get better, and you will be back soon. Also a big thanks to all those behind the scene that make this hunt run smoothly. Jake, Ellen, Kat and Sondra as always a fine job.
