Nobody likes to doctor feet, but bag balm a couple times goes a long way until a dogs feet are good. As for the culling- well if you just can't keep feet on one good enough to keep em in shape then I'd agree. There's always a BUT personally I've not owned too many that had enough gears to suit me that wouldn't knick a pad from time to time! A fella that I think alot of once told be- "Boychild if they get in that collar they gunna goof them feet up!"- The first line of the quote will give it away for a bunch of ya...lol. When I kept dogs of his genetics I doctored feet every evening when I fed (before I had a real job & kids) & won my share with them. Just a thought- It all depends on what your trying to do!
