Sunday 30th - An alternative - The FoD

I know most people are heading to Afan this Sunday, but if anyones interested Ian and I will be hitting the FoD. All welcome.

Please stick something here if you're going to show.

9.30 start time at the pedal-a-bike-away centre,

Cheers,
Stephen.

Re: Sunday 30th - An alternative - The FoD

Are you trying to start a new 'elite' breakaway group?

Re: Re: Sunday 30th - An alternative - The FoD

No I'm sinking to my natural level.

Re: Re: Re: Sunday 30th - An alternative - The FoD

Hi Steven, I would join you guys but guess what? Poxy Raceface evolve isis bb has given up after one ride - yes ONE ride - on the quantocks - its semi seized, and too much play to be confident of it not breaking up. They must make them out of cheese or something and £45 for one ride is no joke. I thought the first one going after 2 months of summer riding was just bad luck, obviously not.So, cant ride on Sunday cos even CRC cant get one to me in time. Guess I'll have to upgrade to xt.
Anyone else have problems with isis / wankface bbs? Or have i just got the luck of a git?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Sunday 30th - An alternative - The FoD

Chris, that sounds like bad luck. I remember it was making a weird clanking noise on the quantocks. Seems like alot of people have had problems with the bearings on FSA and racefaces cheaper BB's. I've been using the raceface signature XS for over a year without and its been absolutely fine - but at £65 I should bloody hope so. Anyway see you soon.

Cheers,
Stephen.
