Cwmcarn - speed bumps b***** murder

I did Cwmcarn yesterday, snowy single track, brilliant. But why have they built those stupid speed bumps on the final descent, they dont slow you down, because you can't see them until you are on top of them. Big accident waiting to happen.

Re: Cwmcarn - speed bumps b***** murder

Andy,

You should send an email/letter to the Ranger/FC expressing your concerns.

With everybody sueing each other nowadays, its only a matter of time before an MTB case will reach the courts.

Then the FC will put a stop to it all. Walkers only then...on paths of Cotton Wool.

Re: Cwmcarn - speed bumps b***** murder

whats the matter with you And, I just used them to jump down into the burms, even Sam got some air on one or two of them.tommorow 8.50am down by the new railway foot bridge (cumbaland basin )or 8.30 down by st. annes foot bridge,if your around.

Re: Re: Cwmcarn - speed bumps b***** murder

I`ve got to agree, dem bumps R bloody murder! It seems odd to design a trail that way, I know they have to slow riders down but it just becomes bloody dangerous, me hardtail was dancing about all over the bloody place!

Re: Re: Re: Cwmcarn - speed bumps b***** murder

Eh?! Surely they are jumps I agree they are tricky though
