Hi Stephen. Mike P and myself did a ride in Wiltshire a few times that was a good one - its 40 miles but all pretty easy going, basically easy terrain on ancient tracks. The only thing is its quite a long drive to get there, its near Codford St Peter I think. For me, its an Afan length drive, guess it would be the same for you. It would make a change to do a different ride though - what do you reckon?

I'd be up for the FoD as well (I fancy the quantocks but you were there last week weren't you). How about a 9.30 start at the pedal-away centre ????

It would be nice to do something different, but with a long drive and reasonably long ride it might turn into a whole day. Unfortunately with the baby I need to get back by mid afternoon at the latest.

I'll have a look at the map and have a think. Do you have any other closer suggestions though ????
