Re: Clevedon Challenge

hi george, i haven't a clue but if you've already got a map you should be able to work out the route using an ordinance survey explorer map, i think number 154 is the one, the key at the top will let you know what sort of track, trail or road your on,and the contours red lines resembling a finger print will give you an idea of the incline, there's a 5 metre rise between each red line and theres a scale for distance on the bottom of the map, hope this helps.

Re: Attn: Maps and Stuff.....Clevedon Challenge

I have last years map together with Avon Valley cycleway map did the Clevedon Challenge ride a few months back. Send email & Ill forward it on to you, or if you want to get together for a practice run let me know.
First hill is short & sharp, second is long but very good going through beutifull woodland, and I think the third & last is probabally at Ashton Court as far as I can remember. In general a very lovely ride.
Paul.

Re: Re: Attn: Maps and Stuff.....Clevedon Challenge

well that would be grate. My mail is gg209@bath.ac.uk
Unfortunately I have no time to practice b4 the 15 of June...
Thanks anyway.

Re: Clevedon Challenge

total distance is about 38 miles and it took me 2 hours. I'm only moderately fit, so you can probably tell that its not very hilly.
