Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

Hi Dave,

Probably best to post something on the Forum first.

best regards,

Mike

Re: Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

Good question. I'm certainly up for some nightrides. I've been up to Cwm Carn a couple of times recently and it's been great. I'm hoping to go back early next week, so i'll post here then. Provided it warms up a bit that is, it was blisteringly cold last night.

Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

im definitly up for a bit of a night ride! count me in but not early next week as im having wisdom teeth pulled on saturday!

Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

Cool, cheers for the response guys. Normally Tuesdays are best for me out of the two 'regular evening ride' days but next Tues (31st) I'm busy now.
Monday after 6:30 and Wednesday all evening I'm free for a ride though if that works for you guys?

Local ride's are preferable for me but Cwm Carn could be fun. I've done it during the day but never at night!

Anyway, let me know your availability on Monday or Weds and maybe we can sort something out.

Re: Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

I'm keen to get a few more night rides in too. Tues (or Thurs) suit me best butI'm OK for next Wednesday.

Re: Re: Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

Mick,

Wednesday sounds good. Are you up for Leigh Woods?

Dave

P.S. If you want to email me, mail me at davidmayneATemail.com

Cheers
Mick

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

I don't think I can make it tonight now either so just as well! I won't be able to make Friday so I'll just try and post something for Cwm Carn on Tuesday.

Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

Hi Dave

At this time of the year most night rider regulars tend to be hibernating on their cough* road bike cough* cos the trail conditions are so crap around Leigh Woods/ Ashton Court. However can highly recommend a night ride around Cwn Carn as soon as you can (Tuesday nights are preferable for me and a few others i know). Either way let me know by e-mail (club website) or on this forum if your up for an evenings blast.

Re: Regular night rides, how's it work?

Damon,

Couldn't find your email address on the main website unless you're talking about the main BMBC address?

Anyway, I know what you mean about Leigh Woods and Ashton Court. As long as it's not been raining much for a week or 2 then they're not too bad. Just went on the Timberland Trail yesterday and there was very little mud. I'm definately up for Cwm Carn one evening though so I'll post something for next week (can't do Tuesday or Thursday this week I'm afraid tho).

Dave

This is the only BMBC mailing address.
