Re: Newbie - Trails to ride in Avon/Wiltshire?

Salisbury plain ain't exactly local to Bristol & Bath and it ain't that good (its not called Plain for nothing)!

I can't tell you about Bath but there are load of trails near Bristol. There are some downhill runs in Leigh Woods & Still woods but no lifts. There are downhills with uplifts 45 minutes drive away in South Wales.

Re: Newbie - Trails to ride in Avon/Wiltshire?

Fraz, there are some descent trails rouond the back of Hanham woods (end of Crews Hole road). Plenty of steep trails and some good little bits of jumps and drops. Otherwise scope out Leigh Woods and you will find some good technical stuff.
