First Aid

Could any one give me some suggestions about what i should include in a Trail First Aid kit. I had a fairly large coming together with a fence post and my face whilst riding the Mendips and would like to be a little better prepared next time.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: First Aid

I carry a small first aid kit under my saddle. Also, get yourself on a first aid course with St.John Ambulance it can be invaluable.

It contains:

Triangular Bandage
Safety Pins
Foil Blanket
Antiseptic Cream
Plasters
Various Sterilised Dressings
Small Knife
Roll of Insulation Tape
and a
Machine that go's PING ;-)

"First Aid Section on the Site"

and learn CPR :-)

I was thinking about doing a "First Aid Section on the Site" including printouts etc. to shove in the camelbak.

Would people find this useful? If the reponse is positive I'll make a start.

Re: "First Aid Section on the Site"

I'd find it useful please. Thanks for the advice already given.

How is the fence post?

Re: Re: Re: "First Aid Section on the Site"

Getting along just fine thank you. Bike and fence post were un blemished in the accident, it was only me with any injuries.
