Mike, you philestine! Its actually a charity ride dedicated to the memory of a keen cyclist who died from cancer. The ride is over some of his favourite trails apparently.

'Malletts Bash' is the name - had a flyer left on the car at the Exmoor Explorer, wouldnt have heard of it otherwise.

Seems that entries closed on 21st August so its a bit late to mention that details are available on :
www.svcc.org.uk and www.forcecancercharity.co.uk.

There is mention of a minimum amount of sponsorship you need to collect in order to take part though.
