sport nutrition

Hi, my name is Steve Book,

I am writing to you with regards to my company Premier Sports Nutrition. What I do may well benefit your members and/or colleagues. It is designed to give sports nutrition advise on a personal level.

After a career as a professional footballer I decided to go into sports nutrition. Having been involved in sport on a professional level I realised how important diet and nutrition is, in sport. Take a look at all the top sports people and teams. Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, Paula Radcliffe, Manchester United F.C, Chelsea F.C. England cricket and rugby are just a few to name, all of them want to be the best and have somebody looking at what they are drinking/eating, and just as importantly when and how much.

I was fortunate enough to have a bit of a head start in nutrition. Being involved as a professional footballer gave me a insight to what was involved. We had dieticians come in to see us and tell us the things to eat and drink and the correct amounts and times to do so.

When I was still playing football I enrolled on a Nutrition and Weight Management and Applied Nutrition course which results in a Diploma in Applied Nutrition which I passed successfully in July 2005. Since then I have gained further experience in working at a professional level with Bristol Rovers F.C. as well as my private customers.

We are here to provide you with advice and ideas that you may have not tried or have heard of before. One of the real eye openers for me was the "recovery" from training, games or events. As I mentioned, I was a professional sportsman but didn’t know how important the recovery aspect was until I completed the courses.

Like I said, we are here to help you get that extra bit faster, higher, fitter, stronger or whatever your needs are. If you are feeling tired before training sessions or half way through a game then maybe we can help you. As we have said before everyone is different, so needs will be different. It’s not a case of have a bottle of lucozade(like most people do) and `bang` energised to the max, far from it. I am sure you will benefit from this, so if you have any concerns drop us a email. steve@premiersportsnutrition.com

Please visit my site and have a look around http://www.premiersportsnutrition.com or you could add a link if possible.

Kind regards

Steve Book
