Welcome all to the new VenusHairWorld forum, which is a forum for all to discuss whatever they would like whether it be about hair, beauty, love or just whatever they like!
I was wondering if anyone has heard of the new Thermal Straightening System called Demi-Perm? It is created by the people of Organic Root Stimulator (Namaste Laboratories). According to the advertisement of the current Sophisticate's Black Hair Styles, it's an alternative to chemical relaxers and lasts 50% longer than a press and curl. I just wanted to know if anyone has more details on this product and/or experience with it...possibly even where it may be purchased?
That product is in the works and is currently being advertised and field tested but it is not available at this time to the general public. Keep an eye out on the website fro its introduction.

Hello, I am a salon owner and a stylist of 12 years I love the Demi Perm. I use it on most of my clients and I am trying to convert all of my relaxer clients for the health benefits of the hair. When you have this processed done by a professional who is fimaliar with the product you will not believe the difference and how the does not revert even if you work out daily. The product will only revert if water is placed on the head. The change in your hair will shocking and after 6 treatments (continual visits) you will never relax your hair again.
This is just what I'm looking for!! After 20 years of relaxer... I've had enough. Do I have to grow out my relaxer completely or can I have the Demi Perm applied to my new growth?
Hey I use demi perm in my salon and you need a professional to apply it to your hair. And yes you only put it on the new growth. If you have any questions I would be glad to help you just email me.
Hi I was wondering if the demi perm is anything like a regular perm?. I have thick hair and i was always afraid of getting perms because i thought it will make my hair fall out..lol...so know i have to straighin my hair with a pressing comb like every 3 days and im getting tired of it..lol.....and also, if i get a demi perm do i have to keep getting touch ups like every day or is the demi perm a one time deal?????
Hello
do you know what the active ingredient is in the Demi perm? does it have the same effect as a low or no lye texturizer? I have natural hair and was thinking about getting a texturizer to give me a straighter look for work instead of wearing pony tails.
I am in San Antonio Texas, and was told about the demi perm from my cousin in Fort Worth Texas. I would like to get this perm but can't find it. Where can I get it?
I read about this product almost a year ago in Essence and have been trying to find info on it ever since. To my knowledge it is only sold to professional hair stylist through the makers of organic root stimulator.(namaste)at first the website only offered a phone # for hairstylist to call for more informaion, but now there are before and after pictures and also of the system.
