i listened all through the seventies, probably from the beginning until i went to college in 79 and tried to catch them whenever possible after that. sometimes i'd catch them early on one station and if i liked it, i'd listen again on the local station and then another, straining to hear through the static. it's probably why i was always on the verge of missing the school bus in the morning. i don't if anyone else did this, but i actually wrote a radio play and submitted it to the show. i don't know if i still have it, but they sent a reasonably polite rejection letter back on very nice paper. my first rejection---ah, well. i still listened every night. i am glad to find this site. i'm listening right now!
