If you are serious about coming to Zimbabwe to fish for Bass, e-mail Greg Welman (welmang@telkom.co.za). Greg knows the best venues and has contacts in Zim who regularly update him on the security situation and the fishing. Also, Greg will arrange everything for you and personally guide to the fish.
Zimbabwe not only has Bass, but other hard-fighting indigenous fish such as tigerfish, various bream species including Nile Bream, and the vundu.
