The 2017 Mid South Masters was held at Old 74 Fox Preserve and lived up to everyone’s expectations. We had an outstanding class of Derby and All Age hounds from all over the East Coast and they battled it out until the end.

We would like to congratulate Hawkeye & Big C’s Hell Cat (Buckshot’s Hardrock/Lewis’ Red Ruby); Hawkeye & Big C Kennels, Buckhead NC, on the win in the Derby and Forty Creek Spot (Ch High Cotton Rowdy/High Cotton Martini); Forty Creek Kennels, Southport, NC for the Field and Dual in the All Age. We would like to thank Master of Hounds Brian Haas for his outstanding work in the field and judge’s room, Johnny Shaw for an excellent job as Bench Show Judge and all the other judges for their outstanding contributions. Without talented folks like these we could not have hunt. Also, a special thanks to Mike Carr, with Pride Dog food, Moose Jowers, and Randy McGovern, with Showtime, for their continuous support to our sport, as well as Native Dog Supplies for coming and setting up and helping us with supplies for all our hounds.
