How often do everyone swim their dogs? How do you rotate with running?

I would also like to know what do yall swim them in? a pool, pond, mudhole? and how do yall go about swimming them?

TWICE A WEEK WE THROW THEM IN THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND WHEN THEY COME OUT ON THE OTHER BANK WE CATCH THEM.

I SWIM MINE EVERY TIME A DEER JUMP IN YHE LAKE MINE WILL JUMP IN AFTER THEM I DONT KNOW IF IT HELPS IT MAKES THEM HARD TO GATHER

Really man used to do it all the time when I used to hunt hard. A river works good. Make them swim against current till they get a good work out. Doesnt take long against that current twice a week. I used it when i couldn't get in the woods or a dog was healing pads or something like that. Its one of those something is better than nothing things. Nothing to me compares to running in 100 dog packs every weekend in a big pen. Where you going to field trial at.

so I want to just swim them across the pond back and forth on a cable or how???
