Got a call this morning and David and Vaden tuning up there hounds at Lonnie's pen to them ready for East Coast Masters..I believe Ronnie run yesterday...Lonnie said they got rain last couple days and word on the running was it was good this morning....and yesterday ---- them boys gonna be tough to handle in 2 weeks......

The running was great today at c&m with proly the most hounds ever casted in the pen I Thot the yots looked pretty dag on good and seen a few t-bone in the road and still manage to escape the yots r running strong at c&m. The pen is wet at the moment and hope it still will b in 2 weeks cause 3days of running in this pen can get pretty rough.

David-

Run with me.....save me some dog food. A good eye is critical. A good dog can do it all; hunt, speed and drive, trail, and all in a five hour hunt. It is almost a lost art; welcome the three hour hunt.

Every litter isn't super stars....even if they are the best you have, Hunter.
Hunter, remember this, when you run by your self it is easy to win.....but remember you also came in last!!!!

I ran Monday and the dogs performed well...the pen is right, I cant wait to camp out with Tick and Jerry Hard wick, cant wait to see David and His better half Robin, Big Daddy be socializing big time.....we moving show to Thursday night and going to cook big dinner for hunters and then show dogs....

WELL... WHO'S GOT THE HEAT FOR THIS EVENT?????

Can't wait to see three days in this pen and can't wait to see this competition get it on. Be the first masters 3day I experience but I figure this local crowd (Norris, triple b) gone be pretty tough. They sure been prepping them awesome hounds pretty good in C&M. Hope to see all you there.

We are not going to break records with entries, but we will make HISTORY with the first field champion, 1st bench champion ever at this pen, we will have quality hounds, a lot of hunters calling and getting one or two number they not bringing all they bringing there best.....I been gettn a lot of calls lots of excitment......

Just heard from Tick he said his are put up on rest detail and are lock stock ready to roll, spoke with Big Daddy Sonny Cerney he said his ran good Monday and has his put up...Sonny told me he really wants to whip them Turd Hill dogs (get u Some).....just kidden (tick)....I got mine on rest detail also they chewing holes in the chain link fence hope hunt gets here soon or I am going to have to build new kennels...
I haven't heard form Vaden, Ronnie or David Bailey I am sure they got there ready to roll....

Joe - appreciate the comments, we might as well have some fun if we going to do anything - and no matter what happens at the end I always go and shake the winners hand and congratulate them and then start making up good exuses---mine were out of shape, dog tore a pad, my number come off, that dang judge shouldnt scratch my dog, if it been 6 hour hunt i would dominated, the local boys dogs new the pen to good....

no all kidding aside I have met some hunters from all over usa they good people and when I travel 800 miles to a hunt they always treat me good, so I am really looking forward to some old friends coming from LA and GA to hunt with us, so we can pick and tell storries and drag out the moon shine and tell some lies....

headed out this afternoon to get trpphies and head to the pen - spoke to tick him and Jerry are in SC and stopped off at Ronnie Caughmans to pick up a dog and get us some steaks and pork chops to cook.
