Could not make the 2013 SC State at Low Country because of work, but from reports I have received form a few of the judges at the hunt, the Pee Dee should be a great hunt. The judges said the game was not hurt during the state hunt and that there was more game being seen not run than run on day three. Richard Evans has the pen rolling.
The Pee Dee will be November 13th thru 16th, so make plans to come and join us. The bench show will be Wednesday night the 16th after our Pee Dee supper and the running will be the next three days.
Start reserving numbers on October 13th @ 6:00 PM by calling our Secretary Lisa McShane at 843-272-3259 or 843-385-3058. She has asked that people only call her between 6:00 PM & 9:00 PM each evening due to her work.
The entry fee is $50 per hound and the Membership Fee is $25.
Hunt will be run under National Rules and our Master of Hounds will be the honorable Craig Nobles from NC and the Bench Show will be judged by Kelly Meadows who is also from NC.
Please come join us and look forward to seeing everyone on November 13th!!!
Sincerely - Jeff Brinchek - 2013 Pee Dee President
is time really broken per the rules in all 3 day field trials? It is probably a lot of work if figured by hand and not a computer. Just wondering if there's consistency? Thanks.
Yes all 3 day hunts are Broken (Nat affiliated) ten minute intervals, and Masters either 5 Min or 10 Min intervals, this is mandatory to follow rules to be able to crown a champion.
