Talked with Secretary Lisa McShane a few minutes ago and looks like everything is coming together for another successful Pee Dee. The Pee Dee will be this Wednesday, November 13th thru Saturday the 16th.
Reserve numbers by calling Lisa McShane at 843-272-3259. So far only 290 numbers have been reserved, so lots of good numbers still remaining. Would love to see 250 hounds turned loose Thursday morning, but it may be more around 200 total in the derby and all age.
We have 23 judges confirmed as of this morning and all of them are seasoned veterans and know how to cover the hounds. Master of Hounds Craig Nobles will make sure of that, but his job should be easy with this group.
The entry fee is $50 per hound and the Membership Fee is $25.
Jay Holbert and his committee will have a wonderful meal prepared for all to enjoy Wednesday night before the bench show around 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Look forward to seeing you all there for this fine meal and fellowship.
Also talked this morning to preserve owner Richard Evans. He told me there is wood waiting to be used at the front gate and back at the spectator's shelter to keep the hunters warm each morning while looking at the running. Richard said his game is ready to put on a show for all to see.
Be careful traveling to the hunt and cannot wait to see everyone.
