Wall to wall running, plenty of judges, light rain and cool. This looks like one for history books.

heard valentine was leading hunt with 600 plus points. next hound had around 420 pts. the running was outstanding according to some hunters. cast around 150 hounds.

Excellent first day, the scoring was great. The derby is very close. Valentine way ahead in all age, Johnny Foster in second place. Lots of dogs, lots of fun, lots of good people, what a hunt!! This had to be some of the fastest running i've ever seen. Tomorrow will tell the tale. Good luck to everyone.
