I just happened to look at the rule book link on the front page and I noticed that the info for the Masters Corporation is different than it used to be. Now it says incorporated by Ronnie McMillan in Mississippi where it used to say incorporated by Fred Walker in Arkansas.
It is my understanding that the Articles of Incorporation can not be changed but I guess in this case an entirely new corporation was formed in December of 2012.
I assume the new corporation has taken over everything controlled by the old one.
I guess my question is what is the standing of the shareholders in the old corporation? Do we own shares of a meaningless corporation in Arkansas or do we own shares of a new corporation founded in Mississippi?
