He was one of the best hounds I ever had, he won for me in 1 day, 2 day, an 3 day hunts in the pen, an outside. I didnt get to run him in any derby hunts, he was right at 2 when I got him. He placed 13 times before I retired him. He doesnt have a good clear mouth, but has a squall, tearin mouth that you can pick, he wud catch a coyote and knew what to do with it. I ran him all night on friday nights pleasure hunting. Heres the point. doesnt really matter if he treed coons for a living, cause he is to old to run. It matters what they produce, and he has done well for know more gyps that have been bred to him, compared to other stud dog owners.
