What kind of worm looks like rice in a dogs stool and what does it take to kill them
I've use ivomec safe gaurd and at gaurd
Any ideas?

What looks like rice is segments of tape worms. Use a wormer with Praziquantal to get tape worms.

Like Jackie said Equimax is about the easiest and cheapest way to kill the tapeworms. 3/4 of a cc is probably enough to do the job but it won't hurt to go ahead and give a full 1cc dose. One tube contains about 6cc of equimax. It is easy to squeeze the paste into a 10 or 12 cc syringe and then use that to load 1cc into the regular 3cc syringes. Alternate Equimax, Safeguard, and pyrantel pamoate plus ivermectin and you shouldn't have any worms.

Equimax is 1.87% Ivomec so you better be careful giving a dog that much. 1cc of Equimax is like giving him 1.87cc of Ivomec.
