If it has distemper then the pups in a bind! Go to Walmart and get some Dramamine to keep it from vomiting a bottle of pedialight and cayro syrup ! Give it a dramamine. Then get a syringe and force feed the pedialight down its throat first and then mix the syrup with the pedialight and keep force feeding it! Do not give it solid foods for a couple of days. The solide food will agitate the intestines! The distemper is in the intestines. The vet has two antibiotics to give them. One is a liquid that will crystallize in the refrigerator and you give 1 cc of it behind the neck 12 hours and and antibiotic that you a 1/2 cc that u give in the leg once every 24 hours! I think that's right! It might be backwards. But the main key is to keep fluids down its throat so he won't dehydrate ! Dehydration is what will kill him. Ill look tomorrow and tell u the antibiotics to ask for. But the vet will know. If you can't afford the meds from the vet then give it Dramamine and pedialight with cayro syrup all you can. Sorry to here about the sick pup. But I just went through this and saved six pups!
