camp shelby 2 day hunt

Ms. Hunting Dog Assn. will be hosting its first 2 day outside field trial in camp shelby on Sept 20-21 entry fee will be 45 a dog and 10 dollar membership if u are not a MHDA member.We have kennels and some camper hookups will be available,top 10 will receive jackets and the rest after exp. will go to MHDA For numbers or any questions contact Clayton @ 601-270-2692 after 6 or post on here.This all be the first 2 day we have ever had in camp shelby if all turns out good will be looking to have bigger hunts.The hunt will run 2 FOUR Hr. days ALL AGE

Is this an affiliated hunt? Will this hunt count for a title? Will they be scoring on hunting and trailing? Will they score on deer or just fox and yote?

How many numbers is out? Also how many judges?

We have 130 numbers or more out and we gonna have around 25 to 30 judges as of now plan on having more still a lot of people that has not got numbers that I know will.

Folks had problems with the address at previous hunts. Their gps would bring them to wrong place. Someone will post a address near by the kennel. Soon

At this time we are gonna have to CANCEL THE 2 DAY because the FEDERAL will not issue us the permit to have the field trial because they are saying NO DOGS ON NATIONAL FORREST LANDS AT THIS TIME. As many of u know the MHDA has been in contact with the office in Jackson trying to get this issue resolved. If u enjoy fox hunting on gov. land there is a post on here with the Politics phone numbers PLEASE take the time to call them with your concerns. Again i an sorry we have to cancel this hunt was looking forward to a great hunt. If u have any questions or concerns please feel free to call me

Clint when I talked to Clayton he said the hunt had to be rescheduled . He didn't have the amount of time it takes to do everything after the new rule got overturned . Clayton also said as soon as he figures everything out he will post it .
