Well, we are 8 months into the 2014 field trial year and the Leaderboard has calculated points from ~ 91 Derby and AA hunts to date. The order is literally changing every week because the points are so close. It’s going to be an exciting 4 months to see which HOY’s, SOY’s, DOY’s and KOY’s can excel to finish within the distinguished top 20 of each category. There are a lot of “Big” points hunts remaining for 2014. Below is a taste of who and where the Top 50 are currently at in each category. As you can see, a win or 10th place finish within a Grade 1, 2 or 3 hunt can propel you past a lot of hunters and straight to the top. So go ahead and start planning your field trials to attend, because the competition has already begun.
