A.S.(Rabbit)Adams of DeLeon Springs,Fl. passed away at his home Saturday, September 27. Rabbit was a good hunter, he had the best ear for a hounds's mouth of anyone I ever hunted with. Rabbit and I hunted with Alfred (Hotrod) Guess,Jake Kight,W.J.(Bimbo)Marshall,Walt Holmes and Bob Girvin. He knew the mouths of all the hounds. He heard your hounds not just his. If you had a hound showing out that night he would let everyone know. He was a good hunter and a good man. He hauled me thousands of miles hunting when I was young. He had more to do with starting me foxhunting than anyone. If not for him I probably would not be foxhunting today. Rabbit will be missed by me and all of his friends. He will be missed most of all by his wife,Syble;son,Anthony Adams;daughter,Eileen Hester and his three grandchildren. Keep them in your prayers.
