Just looking for some opinions on good stud dogs that throw pups that are fast enough to win 1 day S/D hunts, but also have the nose and brains to get it done on the outside.

I can look at the results and see what studs are throwing winners but that doesnt always tell the full story. Looking for a little more info

Sounds like what you are looking for is a hound that runs game tight because of his ability to use his nose the way a hound is supposed to.. I had one a few years back but sold him (wish I hadn't) and he resides in Centrahoma, Oklahoma now. I got one litter off of him before I sold him. Still have 2 females and 1 male I'm raising pups from now...
