214 hounds, scoring spread out well. everybody still in it after first day. hunters from several states represented. I think a North Carolina boy won bench show.
Congratulations to those good North Carolina hunters.They always seem to be in the mix there at Grenada.And also to David Haynes who I think is owner of the two sires of both derby and all age winner.
Thanks guys it was another good hunt at the lake.
It was announced Wednesday at the Bench show that the hunt would be ran in the memory of Bubba Lane.
Bubba not only did a lot to bring this hunt back to what it is today but was always helping with the other hunts at the lake and all of the work that goes on around the kennels and the running grounds.I was unable to be there Saturday but heard they gave Bubba's wife a nice plaque and she handed out the awards to the AA winners.
