Anyone know how much and for how many days to worm dogs with safeguard? Thanks

I give my dogs 1 tube over 3 days. Give them one third each day. From the last joint on your index finger to the end of it is a good way to measure.

Dean, When I use Safeguard I use the goat wormer. Much easier than the paste. I do puppies 5 days in a row.

Does it hurt to worm a bred gyp?

My vet tells me it is safe that is why they call it Safeguard

I have used safe guard for cows and goats and give 10 cc for old dogs and 1cc for pups at one week and never had any trouble. For the equimax i killed a pup bc I didn't put it on my finger and put it in his mouth. I used to tube and didn't lock it and pushed to much and he was dead in about two hours.hope that helps on use of equimax.

I talked to several vets and the safeguard is 10 % fenbendazole and the dosage is 1 cc for 5 pounds
